Signing Ceremony between ICDL Asia and Saigon University to Initiate Partnership in Education Sector in Vietnam

The signing ceremony between ICDL Asia and Saigon University took place last Friday at the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Office in Vietnam. It was signed by Dr. Pham Hoang Quan, Rector of Saigon University and Ms. Tina Wu, General Manager of ICDL Asia.

The ceremony was witnessed by Chairman of People's Committee of HCMC - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Deputy Director of HCMC Education and Training Department - Mr. Pham Ngoc Thanh, Minister for Education and Skills of Ireland - Mr. Richard Bruton, T.D., and Ambassador of Ireland - Ms. Cáit Moran.

Through this partnership, Saigon University hopes to improve the quality of IT training and education for students in HCMC, particularly for its students. This serves as the 4th Industrial Revolution towards the goal of bringing Ho Chi Minh City becoming a "Smart city" in the region and Asia.
