Salsabila Amalia Rustam

PSB Academy, Singapore

Joining the ICDL Asia Digital Challenge has taught me many invaluable things.

I’ve learned to use the Microsoft Office Suite a lot more efficiently than I have ever did before. Through this competition, I discovered many useful features and functions that I otherwise would not have known and got to know just how powerful this software can be when used correctly. I’ve learnt these useful knowledge and tips during the Grand Final preparation class conducted by MindPower Singapore.

Other than that, I was also able to find out which learning style suits me best, while I was preparing for the Grand Final round modules independently. I learned how to come up with a strategy for learning these modules and stick to it. The ICDL Digital Challenge was my first major competition under the tertiary category, so it was a special experience for me.

The competition is highly beneficial especially for tertiary as we will be entering the workforce soon and it is a highly sought-after skill. I am sure that winning this competition will be an advantage for my future educational and professional endeavors.
