ICDL speaks at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College’s 50th Anniversary Event in Malaysia.

Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC), an Accredited Test Centre (ATC) of ICDL Asia, celebrated its 50th Anniversary recently as one the prestigious private university college in Malaysia.

Over 500 local and international guests from Singapore, Ireland, South Korea, Vietnam, United Kingdom and the United States of America attended the event in TAR UC campus in Kuala Lumpur.

Ms Tina Wu, General Manager of ICDL Asia, was invited as a panel speaker along with the President of TAR UC; Professor Ir. Dr. Lee Sze Wei and YB Dato’ Marina Abu Tahir, the Chairman of ACCA Malaysia Advisory Committee (MAC). The distinguished speakers shared on the theme “Changing Roles of Universities: Shaping of Technology”.

ICDL modules were also showcased during the event, led by the Centre for Continuing & Professional Education (CPE) under TAR UC. This is an effort to reach out to the ACCA members whom are also the alumni of TAR UC to take up the ICDL-ACCA modules.

The university college have thus far produced over 40,000 ACCA members since 1970.
