NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING COLLABORATES WITH ICDL TO UPGRADE DIGITAL SKILLS OF ENGINEERS IN THAILAND.

National Institute of Engineering under the Royal Patronage of HM the King by Dr. Thanet Virasiri, President of Ministry of Public Health, signed a memorandum of cooperation on Digital Academic collaboration with ICDL Thailand in June 2019.

The collaboration between the university and ICDL Thailand hopes to support and promote the development and implementation of digital technology and advanced digital skill (Professional Level) for all Thai engineers nationwide as well as increasing the ability to apply digital technology effectively.

The signing ceremony was led by Dr. Hugh O’Connell, Managing Director of ICDL Thailand who joined hands with Dr. Pisarn Chochaichaudom, Chairman of Computer Engineering Department of ETS, Air Squadron Professor Dr. Prasong Pranee Taphon Krang, Advisor to the Department of Computer Engineering along with Khun Krit Kanyakan Jirathan, ICDL Executive Director and Asst. Prof. Dr. Weerayuth Pi to raise the digital skills of Thai engineers to the international standard.
